Westview High Pathways and Freshman Academy Earn National Distinction

The National Career Academies Coalition recognized Westview High for earning Model Status with Distinction for both its pathways and Freshman Academy programs.

This is the highest level of recognition from the organization.

Westview High is the first school in the nation to complete the pathway accreditation process.

This achievement reflects a collaborative effort between staff, students and families to ensure students are ready for post-secondary college and career opportunities.

"This acknowledgment shows the work of our staff and students," said Thomas Lee, Westview High principal. "This recognition shows the work that goes into providing our students with real-life opportunities and experiences that allow them to learn, lead and succeed."
