Omaha Public Schools Earns Best Communities for Music Education Recognition

The National Association of Music Merchants recognized Omaha Public Schools as one of the 2026 Best Communities for Music Education.

This designation is given to districts that demonstrate exemplary dedication to music education and a sustained commitment to ensuring equitable access to music as part of a well-rounded education for all students.

Our district’s work removing barriers to entry and leveraging our community partnerships with groups such as the Omaha Symphony, Good Vibrations, Omaha Performing Arts and the University of Nebraska Omaha contributed to earning this recognition.
