Jenna Reynard, winner of the 2017 OAYO Concerto Competition, has studied viola since fourth grade. She began private lessons with Amy-Peterson Stout in sixth grade and currently studies with Judy Divis. Jenna has been a member of the Omaha Area Youth Orchestras since 2012; She has been a member of the Youth Symphony for four years. Jenna was a member of the string quintet Ginger and the Ponticellos. She received Superior ratings for the 2015 NSAA District Music Contest. She has attended numerous music festivals, including the UNL Spring Strings, UNL Chamber Strings Institute, OPS Summer Musical, and Madeline Island Music Camp. Jenna has served as principal and co-principal for the OPS (Omaha Public Schools) All-City Orchestra. She has been a co-principal for the Nebraska All-State Orchestra and will be participating in the 2017 National Association for Music Educator's Honors Orchestra hosted at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida.

Jenna (18) is a senior at Omaha North High Magnet School. She has participated in the Omaha North High Honors Orchestra (directed by Rose Rydberg) for all four years. She has received varsity letters for Orchestra, Academic Excellence, Softball, and Golf. She is a member of the National Honors Society and the Robotics Club while actively volunteering at DoSpace. Jenna plans to pursue music during college.
