Social Studies

 


Omaha North High Magnet School’s social studies program is intended to help create informed and active citizens of an increasingly diverse and interconnected world. The social studies build on interpretive and predictive skills learned in other disciplines by stressing critical thinking, problem solving and analysis of primary sources and data with the goal of helping students recognize and appreciate the diverse and dynamic nature of culture and to develop the ability to make reasoned and informed decisions for the public good.
